Leave the days you did not work empty
A blank row counts as zero and never blocks the total, so a week with three shifts takes three rows. A time the calculator cannot read is flagged on its own row rather than voiding the week.
What the week total is for
The weekly figure is what an overtime threshold is measured against, and what most timesheets are submitted with. WorkTime keeps the same totals per day, week and pay period, and exports them as PDF or CSV.

- Can I use it for a two-week or monthly period? Yes — total each week here and add the weeks, or let WorkTime total any pay period up to 31 days for you.
- Do night shifts work? Yes. An end time before the start is treated as crossing midnight and counts on the day it started.
- Does it calculate pay? No, this card is hours only. WorkTime applies your rate, your overtime rules and your breaks to those hours.
